5KM Walk or Run - 8:00AM Sharp, Dundas West & University
To Register an Individual or Team:
Camp Jumoke receives no government funding. Therefore, it is primarily supported by private and corporate donations. Will you be one?
The annual Camp Jumoke walk-a-thon is an entire day of family-oriented events featuring live entertainment, children's activities, vendors, refreshments and free giveaways. Thanks to the City of Toronto, we are able to hold all of these festivities on the grounds of Nathan Phillips Square. The Toronto City Hall and on the street of the downtown core.
The Camp Jumoke walk-a-thon is a lively procession through the streets of downtown toronto and attracts participants from the Greater Toronto Area, surrounding areas and across North America .
You may walk as an individual or gather some friends to share in the fun and excitement. You may also encourage your church, school or workplace to walk as a team and enter the team challenge… there may be a prize for the team that raises the most funds on top of the bragging rights. Although Sickle Cell is not restricted to children here at camp jumoke we are focussed on the children as they are less able to understand the isolation of living with a disease that prevent them from participating in the regular activities that their friends and classmates take for granted.
